What is stress?


Stress is how we react when we feel threatened, under pressure and simply unable to cope. It can feel overwhelming and be difficult for us to concentrate and see beyond the mental fog it creates.

Here are some things that indicate stress:

Sleep and digestive problems, changes in mood, sweaty or clammy palms, decreased sex drive, dizziness, teeth grinding, headaches, muscle tension, trembling, low energy.

What is anxiety?


Anxiety is how the human body reacts to anticipated danger. It’s generally underpinned by worry and fear.

Signs of anxiety:

  • Symptoms include cognitive disturbance such as problems, concentrating and physical symptoms such as muscle tension nausea, trembling, sweating, racing heart, dry mouth.

  • Difficulty sleeping and over sleeping, moving and talking slowly, appetite or weight changes, decreased energy or fatigue, unexplained aches pains and digestive problems.
